We believe the customer or purchaser has the right and should expect that any purchase should be received in good condition and in a timely manner. We will make every attempt to provide purchases in a timely manner and have consequently selected UPS as our shipping agents, because we think they are the most dependable and cost efficient method of shipping. We are not responsible for delays that occur by Acts of God, or other matters out of our control such as back ordered inventory, severe weather delays, or transportation problems. We are proud of our shipping record. Currently, we complete and ship 99% of our orders out by next business day.
HOLIDAYS AND SHIPPING: UPS does not deliver or ship on major Holidays like Christmas, New Years, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving. We will consequently be closed on those days as well. Please plan accordingly when you place your order and when you are deciding to ship Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, 3 Day Air, or UPS Ground. UPS counts Business days only for shipping time.
We will ship according to the type of shipping that you select, such as Next Day Air, 2 Day Air, 3 Day Air, or UPS Ground. UPS does not count weekends and holidays, when they are calculating the days that it takes to deliver a package from the day they pick it up.
**Please be careful, there are no credits or discounts given if you pick the wrong shipment method -- we will ship according to what you select.**
BACKORDERS: You may now add items to your cart that are marked TEMP OUT OF STOCK and we will ship them to you as soon as they become available. (Of course, there would not be any further shipping charges to do this for you.) Sorry, we cannot take orders on items that are marked TEMP ON BACKORDER because we do not have a return date from the manufacturer. If your backorder totals $7.50 or less, we will cancel that part of your order and adjust the charges for you.
As a special note, we receive virtually all of our shipments of products by UPS ground. We have never had trouble with melted or damaged goods, even in summer. There is always that possibility however, especially in the hot months, so use your discretion when ordering and when deciding which method to ship your goods.
It is also a good idea in hot months to have them delivered when and where they can be brought in from the heat into the house or place of business. If you are not sure someone will be home, you can write in the comments sections when you are checking out "signature required" and then UPS will not leave your package without someone signing for it. If you do "signature required" you may find you will have to go to the UPS Warehouse to pick up your package. If the weather is bad or if the UPS Driver is concerned about theft, the UPS driver has discretion to not leave your package if there is no one there to receive it, even if you didn't select "signature required". There is nothing we can do about this -- this is a UPS Policy.
All products are shipped and leave our office in perfect condition and not melted or crushed. The shipping company, UPS, is responsible for what happens to the products after they leave our office. We are not responsible for which service you pick and if the items are damaged from climate conditions. You will need to make your claim through UPS or whichever shipper is responsible for the melted products.
WRONG ITEMS SHIPPED: Purchasers from Profoundfoods.com may return any wrong items in exchange for correct items that we mistakenly sent that is our error in filling the order or purchaser without additional shipping charges. In order to receive correct items or credit for items canceled, first contact us for a Returned Merchandise Authorization. Next, the wrong items must be returned to us at our cost, in good and unused condition. Purchaser may return for exchange of like goods any goods that are damaged or faulty due to no fault of the purchaser, and at no additional cost (this does not cover melted products -- see above paragraph).
RETURNS: EXCHANGES, CREDIT FOR DISCOUNTS, FREE SHIPPING, MISSING OR DAMAGED ITEMS, MUST BE REQUESTED WITHIN 15 DAYS OF PLACING YOUR ORDER. We have made all attempts to provide honest description of our products, especially food products, and their benefits. Click on image and you can also see ingredients and nutritional information. However, each person has very unique taste and preferences in foods. For every item that we think tastes great, there is someone who thinks the item is fantastic, and someone else who hates it. So, if you are not familiar with high protein foods, or a specific high protein food, it would be advisable to buy small, not large quantities of a product in case you don't like the product. We have several variety packs that can be helpful finding products that you like without getting a whole box of something you may not like. Also, please take advantage of our free samples that we offer with each order to check out products that you think you might like before buying them.
There are no refunds however we do offer exchanges.
Customer is responsible for shipping charges and insurance for return shipping and reshipping exchanges.
Customers are also responsible to pay and reimburse ProFoundFoods.com for any charges by Credit Card Companies for requests for reversals or disputes of charges.
Products, individual boxes and individual packets must be returned unopened, undamaged and new condition. All packets or units must be present for each individual box that is returned for exchange. There are no partial exchanges for an individual box that is missing packets or items. All bottles of products can be returned only if unopened and the safety seals are fully intact and undamaged.
YOU MUST CONTACT US FIRST TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS FOR RETURN OF ITEMS, AND GET A RETURN AUTHORIZATION, BEFORE RETURNING ITEM(S). REQUESTS FOR RETURNS MUST BE MADE WITHIN 15 DAYS OF PURCHASE. You should contact us by using the “Contact Us” button on left.
EXCHANGES, CREDIT FOR DISCOUNTS, FREE SHIPPING, MISSING OR DAMAGED ITEMS, MUST BE REQUESTED WITHIN 15 DAYS OF PLACING YOUR ORDER. (For bookkeeping purposes, all requests for like replacements for damaged or missing products or for products you didn't order that we sent by mistake, or for credit if you didn't enter the codes or discounts or for whatever reason the discount or free shipping was not applied when you placed your order).
